Hopping on the ride of my life in 2019!

Happy New Year! Yea, yea…I know many of you are wondering why I am saying “Happy New Year” on January 8th but in my book, it is safe to say until around mid January. I took a few weeks off to be with my family in New York during the holidays but I am back and better than ever. Normally, in years past, I write down all my resolutions on paper and keep it in a drawer to look at every year. I found a list from when I was 18 and the biggest resolution on there was to quit biting my nails. (Im a champion nail biter LOL). This year, however, resolutions mean something a little more different. If I listed some of them down, one in particular would be: Take stronger risks. Throughout my life, I have been a great risk-taker but these days, I look in the mirror and find that I have stepped back a bit. 2019 is the year I want to jump in the pool of opportunity because life goes by quickly and windows do close. For this week’s post, we ventured onto the World Famous Santa Monica Pier because it was the perfect place to start fresh in the new year! When walking along the pier, you feel like youre walking at the edge of the world with the wind blowing through you and the Pacific Ocean in front of you. This week was a time of reflection, inspiration, and understanding the road ahead. Not to mention, the Pacific Park on the pier has the most amazing rides for both adults and kids! We went on The Ferris Wheel, The Rollercoaster and played some games! All-in-all, the perfect way to ring in the New Year! What are you planning for your year ahead? More travel? More love? Let me know in the comments!
